This would absolutely work as well with an embellished flat, picture the same shoes without a high heel - yes! However, I did see an article on this once (if you can believe a journalist actually took the time on this issue - and then that I bothered to read it!) and it said that this is sometimes done to prevent blisters and swelling, when wearing heels on bare feet.&nbsp; I guess there are inserts you can get that keep the shoes on without the snug fit. That said, it could be as Angie said, and her foot just moved forward while she was stepping.
