Also, I recently updated a post after a couple of weeks and realized it remained hidden among old posts because the update doesn't mark anything new on the post. So from now on I'll start new ones. I also agree with Angie that it makes it easier to read and follow.

I've felt like I'm spamming the forum recently, with my strings of posts on a few purchases I needed for our new home and buying interview clothes (browsing online, going to the store, more online ordering, another trip to another store, thinking about/ordering shoes, trying on clothes, and trying on shoes have each gotten their own threads, and there will be a few more). It's been a little hectic sometimes with conversations bouncing across different threads, but I don't think anyone minds--certainly hope not! I think I've gotten good advice. Some people have clearly been following the whole process while others just pop in on the part that interests them. It's been very helpful.

I vote start a new one, em. I personally prefer a new thread on an update. Scanning titles is fast and easy. I don't prefer long threads with updates in the middle somewhere. Harder to get to business.

If I receive a lot of suggestions on a thread, and then I rework my idea to incorporate people's thoughts & new inspirations, should I update my thread or start a new one?
