Back then, long hair was frequently worn up, or tied back at the nape of the neck, so I suspect that might have been done for this picture. In the latter part of the 60s, Jane wore her trademark below-shoulder mane with a heavy fringe. Never saw a picture of her in a short cut, though. </p> <p>And, just as a side note, when Jane left modeling she and her husband ended up owning a hotel in Penzance, Cornwall, called “The Abbey”.
