If any of you are planning to be there, we could angle for a quick get together and share some mini-donuts or cheese curds ;-)</p> <p>We'll get there sometime around 9:30 am and stay until mid-evening (unless it's unbearable hot/humid).</p> <p>PM me if you want and I'll give you my cell number. . .</p> <p>For non-MNans, this annual event is practically a sacred end-of summer ritual. Our governor even enacted some legislation many years ago to prohibit public schools from starting before Labor Day -- which is the final day of the State Fair. It is a huge eat-a-thon with incredibly unhealthy, fattening, things often on a stick. It's also a huge WNTW fest (It used to have a larger focus on agriculture and livestock with competitions and judging.)</p> <p>Please don't mind me if I keep bumping during today. . . </p>
