It was our wedding anniversary on August 7 and hence the choice of the vacation days.</p> <p>I realized I don't pay enough attention to packing for vacation posts and have decided in the future that I must try on all combos with jewelry and shoes beforehand and carry those pics as my 'cheat sheet' if you will.</p> <p>pic1/day 1: wearing wit and wisdom jeans, Caslon? lace look pullover, nude flats. with my handsome hubby.<br />2: champagne and chocos that greeted our arrival!<br />3. Ms K having fun on canal park with a native American statue&nbsp;( right on lake superior)<br />4. Ayala bar earrings I treated myself to!<br />5. day 2 dinner with friends: nude asos dress, gold/nude clutch, nude wedges.<br />6. rag and bone denim dress<br />7. my monogramed pendant. stands for my three initials in order. My middle name is my Dad's first name but my husband's first name also starts with the letter A. so my mom thinks it incorporates both my families<br />8. I added a belt that I found in Duluth to my outfit. Also carrying the 'rae' bag.<br />9. cutting the cake!<br />10. what I wore to dinner for the big night: bcbg dress, kate spade bag, ann taylor heels<br />11. bebe caught this incredible picture of us twirling outside the restaurant we ate our anniversary dinner at.<br />12. sitting on the rocks ready for a day of hiking in rag and bone green jeans and chambray shirt from old navy.<br />13. added my prairie underground jacket when it got cold<br />14. bathroom closeup of my beachy hair and same outfit.<br />15,16: another day of sightseeing and hiking. rag and bone jeans, striped top, black mossimo jacket.<br />17,18: our last day: wit and wisdom jeans boutique top, zappos belt ( brand?). white jcrew pullover.<br />19. our family in front of an incredible view!</p> <p>I think I did ok but hated not having 'fashionable hiking shoes' Anyone know of any? I wore my sneakers on a couple of the hiking days and I felt the looked too gear-y but not fashionable enough. tough I agree: gear that's rad!!</p> <p>I wore my hair up a lot as the hair got frizzier through the week but am coming to terms with this summer woe.</p> <p>Comments/suggestions/ humor and laughs/ hugs ever welcome!! </p>
