I prefer loose straps that can be slipped on and off. It's clunky and not in the funky way that Fluevogs are. It's heavy looking but not in a stylish way, neither here nor there. The beige one, to me, is just an elevated version of the ubiquitous comfort sandal. On a twenty year old, it works, for the irony of working a shoe meant to suggest that you're fifty and your feet hurt.
