I like the blue for the same reasons as others have mentioned - they are much harder to find. I have this awesome merlot-colored A-line skirt that I want to pair with tights &amp; boots/booties this autumn. I'd love to have "surprise" blue shoes, but then should I try to coordinate the tights to the shoes or to the skirt to create a nice leg line? This might help me decide between the two shoe colors - how best to coordinate the leg coverings.</p> <p>Maybe I'll wear that long green plaid dress to the store and try them on with that. They're even comfortable! The only problem is that I thought I wanted the blue ones, but when I tried them on it was the brown that looked better (with my grey skinnies outfit - see thread "The Grey Skinnies - R&amp;R Casual"). It may be that I need to wear something different to go try them on, like a dress, for full effect.</p> <p>I already have a dark brown leather pair of booties (see photo #3), so I don't feel like I need a same-but-different pair. That said, these are dressier than what I have...</p> <p>What are your thoughts? Versatile enough? Blue or brown? </p>
