I think I wasn't thrown by it since I got mine in the brown and cream, and the brown is kind of distressed/mottled, too. It looks like some of the black polish/color has leaked or smudged into the white part.</p> <p>The shoes fit well and feel comfortable, and I think I like the look, but I'm definitely disappointed in the smudginess. Is this something common that I could take care of with shoe polish if I decided I liked them, or should I send them back and try a different pair?
