My friend whose husband is ill asked me to be the go-between contact for all of her friends and family, so she doesn't have to answer e-mails and phone calls right now. That is turning out to be quite a job, along with the stress of worrying about what is happening (and the news has not been good so far). I spent the weekend with her kids, though I did get a Mother's Day dinner in with my own baby! </p> <p>It has been hard to concentrate or think about much else, and even though YLF is usually my escape, I'm finding that my brain feels a bit like slipping on banana peels right now. I know many of you have gone or are going through difficult situations also and my heart goes out to you. </p>
