I like the folds in the skirt (#1) and in the long khaki shorts (#4). <br />I prefer the dark shoes in #1, too, and perhaps it's partly because of the bookending Claire noticed. I wouldn't have pinpointed that reason, but it makes sense. My thought was that the black shoes are edgier and give the outfit your eclectic stamp. The lighter ones shift the outfit to a more classic feel.
