Thanks everyone! I ordered two different Miraclesuits from Macys, since I had promo codes (but they didn't have the Sonatina), in size 12. If they don't work, I'll try Lands End, Sylvia's Swimwear, or more Miraclesuit styles somewhere else.

Have you tried Sylvia's Swimwear? I went to their Northgate location. Tons of swimsuits, even a good sale section. I got a supercute tankini there.

That's interesting, Chritsine. My suggestion is to order a 12 (go two sizes up - that's how cozzie sizing in the US works). I have done two weeks of client cozzie shopping. I am pretty cozzie-ed out!

Gottex - Israeli brand, and I feel hands down the best cozzie brand in the world. Personally, I’ve been wearing Gottex for 20 years. BUT! Miracle suit does an outstanding job and I still have MANY women is the Sonatina.

I only tried on a MiracleSuit; I don't have one. I ordered it online and did order one size up, as advised, but found that it was too big. Can you order two sizes and then return the one that doesn't fit?

I usually have to go up two sizes for a bathing suit. The Miracle suits really do work, but unfortunately I find them too confining (much as I do Spanx or similar). I have a problem with things being snug around my middle. But if you do not, you'll probably find them very flattering.

Lands' End also has suits designed for different body types, and you can return things to Sears, which is very convenient (no return shipping).

I'm starting my hunt for a bathing suit (my least favorite item to shop for) and want to try the Miraclesuit, which I remember Angie recommended highly. I think she said that one has to size up for bathing suits, or at least for the Miraclesuit, is that right? I'm usually a size 8, so what size would I order the bathing suit in?
(I'm going to order by mail; it'll be sooo much more comfortable trying suits at home than in the store...)
If anyone has a Miraclesuit, I'd love to get your feedback. I'd also gladly take tips for other brands. Looking for a one-piece that's forgiving on the mid section (e.g. side ruching appreciated) and the hip area, while fitting a smaller chest. Thanks!
