Mine were brown ankle boots with fringes and a beaded thunderbird. I recall being teased a lot at school for wearing them, sadly. I wish I had them now for wearing around the house, though!</p> <p>I definitely think the outdoorsy chic look would work. Or perhaps with a graphic rock band t-shirt (think AC/DC or Scorpions), black jeans, and a leather jacket. I like the JCrew version a lot. I'm wearing Minnetonka slippers right now - they are chestnut suede, lined in fleece. I tried wearing socks with them but it just didn't seem right. I have the ones without any beading on them. I am anxious to see if others propose some ideas as to how to wear them b/c I look forward to wearing them in the spring.
