They're out of my price range, gah! Thanks for the other suggestions! JessieKams: I've pinned quite a few of that girl too, haha! I have the same long torso as you (and that's actually not the problem, it's the accompanying short legs!).  Bijou and Angie: Thanks for the suggestions. The longer ones are what I was thinking of! I'm sure there will be lots to choose from coming up. But I am finding it hard to pull the trigger online! Knitwear and jackets are much easier for me to buy online. Bonnie: I think pleats are a fabulous trend item. You look great in all sorts of pants due to your long legs :-) UPDATE: ended up getting a pair of brown loafers and a pair of brown wing tips from Ecco. I have a really long torso and I think she does great things with such a body type.  I am also a fan of pleated pants but have no particular recommendations ---I do think this would be a good time to buy some, as the high wide waistband is certainly trending.  Good luck! I am wondering if you could recommend: - some dressy black or brown oxfords - dressy pleated pants that don’t wrinkle and that are dark. Also, would dress pants work with short rainboots. I really need to wear rain boots (or some chunky boot) for the spring as it is still snowy here for the next few months and it’s really muddy. I currently have some pleated pants from lululemon, but the pleats and waistband aren’t that pronounced. I would like something quite dressy with a thicker waistband and deeper pleats. I love pleated pants on myself because they seem to have more room in the hips and seat, which is where I need the room! If I keep these, I will likely do more medium blue/green/navy for summer as opposed to black/charcoal.
