Gorgeous color, right heel height, does not look long and gapping looks normal. But do they slide when you walk? That would be the key test.

They are great. Did you buy the size up intentionally? They just look big for your foot, not like they are gaping at the ankle. Umm, it could be the photo

Where is your actual heel, Nancy? Is it also as far from the back of the shoe as your ankle, or is it in the correct place? I've tried shoes that fit like this without actually being too long, as I think it's because of my foot shape - my ankles indent quite severely from my heel, so if the bootie doesn't also indent you'll get an ankle gap in back. That said, I generally return the ones that fit like that, because I think they just don't get my feet.

They look fine with pants though.

I really like them in the shots where the pant is covering the top of them - don't think they look disproportionate at all. However, I do find the gap distracting, so if it were me, I wouldn't wear them with skirts.

I think they look great! But almost all of my shoes fit that way because I'm between sizes and always have to size up. I'm awaiting a set of those shoe sizers that someone posted about, hoping it might help me with the gap at the back of the shoe. I'll report back when I get them!

If the actual foot doesn't feel loose, I think the ankle gap is probably fine. All my booties have a gap. It would help though to see with, like, tights or bare legs and a skirt, though. Or maybe a black sock. I cannot tell if the white ankle socks are creating some optical illusion, because pic 1 makes it look like your heel is a good inch off the back wall of the shoe.

They are super cool booties!

Well, let's pretend for now that the gap issue doesn't exist and you're just sizing them up, no pun intended, with the last two pics. Do they look disproportionate? They may not work with skirts, but even with bootcuts I have to consider if they're too long, or look fine. I can think about the gap separately, since I may be able to make the shoe more snug with inserts, and it doesn't feel loose even now.

How do you feel when you look down at them? I have to size ups sometimes for width, and then I feel like my feel look enormous and silly. I just worry about that gap. Have you tried a cushiony insert?

well since i never wear skirts, that gap doesn't bother me at all. i love them, but i am a huge fan of that kind of a heel

They look too big in 1. Your foot shouldn't be slipping forward that much in them. I worry they will be uncomfortable and give you blisters/foot aches from sliding around or toe clamping.

They are really pretty.

Hmm. They are cool boots, but they honestly don't look like they fit in #1. I would not be satisfied to wear them myself. Especially not with a skirt. But I can't imagine they'd be comfortable to begin with...my toes would be cramping trying to keep everything in place. And I am used to sliding heels (with a narrow heel, it's a given). I just wouldn't want that much space at the back.

The gap in the back would bother me if it shows, like with skirts. But if they don't feel loose and you're going to wear them with pants covering the back...they look great. I wonder if they are supposed to be gapey?? That just seems weird. The silver is beautiful and could be really fun during the holidays.

Love the color. They look good in pic 2, but the gap in the back on 1 is distracting. Go for it, if that is not a deal breaker!

I was verging on R, but they're growing on me. First, beautiful. Especially the distressed silvery leather in the front. They're a full size bigger than what I'd usually wear, but because of the heel my feet slide forward anyway, and they don't feel too loose.

However they are long (I've even gotten used to that look) and gapey in the back. To me I'm thinking they're cut so loose, it has to be intentional. One of my pics shows how far down my skinny jeans can go because they're wide. I'd be wearing them this way (I need to buy grey skinny jeans or straight legs), with bootcuts and possibly with skirts, but I don't have time for other stylings so hope this is enough. Do they look great, or like clown shoes? TIA!
