Yup, you definitely need to use it in the opposite hand- a couple of steps with the cane in the wrong hand will *quickly* teach you that! Good to know there is info available about usage- when I first needed it (back in the late 70's) all I had was a generic printout from the physical therapist! You are so welcome! I did a quick research bit about them hitting right at the wrist bone (they are all adjustable models) and to use it in the opposite hand of your injury.
