Love the suede and the crochet seems to be possible. I only say this as I would find it hard to style.

Both are really nice and I can see them fit into your rotation with a bit of thought.

Ah, the fabric specifics help, although it is a little tough to see in the photos.

I'm not so sure about the crochet. I actually like the idea of the suede one, now that I know it's not corduroy, which was my first guess. I could see it working for winter with tall sleek boots. The burgundy skirt with touches of gray and black could be nice.

Crochet and color in #1 seem iffy to me. I like #2 better. I think this could look great with boots, a button up, belt, and blazer!

Thank you for helping! I think I'll try putting some outfits together and taking some better photos and check back again. I'm not in a big rush but I am in the mood to clear things I'm not going to wear again.

I want to offer my 2 cents Sarah, but can't see the skirts well enough to pass effective judgment.

I think they both look fine. I suspect the midi is going to be a short lived trend because it's hard to wear, so bring them out and enjoy them for a while again. Wear the suede one with boots and the crochet one with sandals or flats. I would wear fairly close fitting tops with both skirts to show off your nice figure. One of those fitted waiscoats would be really nice with the suede one. Maybe you have one of those packed away too??

Crochet! Wow, I thought that was a print. I still like the look of #1, but I'd say to be pretty careful with the accessories and styling, to avoid a hippie vibe (unless that is your aim!).

I think I will revise my opinion: if suede, I LIKE #2. I was guessing wide-wale corduroy.

Enjoy them, in any case--it's the right moment to bring them out again.

#1 is crochet and #2 is suede.

It's funny. after I saw #1 photo I thought I should donate. I'm really glad to get some input!

Yay for #1--very pretty! I think #2 is a little too heavy and bulky to look current.

I think both are great, but I can't see the seam on the first one (on my phone). I think #1 actually looks cute the way you've styled it in the photo (just casual, of course.)

These skirts have been lurking in the back of my closet because I used to love them. Can they be given new life as current midis? I'm wearing them with the same tank and sandals because I depend on your eyes and style!

Any and all thoughts are welcome and essential. Styling, shortening or donating? I really have no clue.
