I recently got these brown tall lace-up work boots to wear with midi skirts (specifically this orange corduroy one from TOAST, and a blush lace one from Nordstrom). The top is a nice short length and I thought it worked well with the skirt.&nbsp; You'll have to excuse my frizzy hair and no makeup as it's a buys working from home day and I didn't have the gumption to care too much over those details!</p> <p>I was happy to see the post about this outfit because I am all about midi skirts and flat boots this fall...I've been searching for non-black boots since the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I also have good plans for the cream combat style boots that Angie also has. I get comments on the cream boots EVERYWHERE I wear them (which is like, two places, since I hardly leave my house...ha.)</p> <p>I'm also looking forward to flare leg pants, boots, and shorter wool jackets. Jackets aren't as comfortable for working at a desk all day, but I do love the way a hip-length blazer looks with wide or flare jeans/trousers or a full skirt. </p>
