Once you find something that works it's worth stocking up. Nothing cropped, wide legged at all - store was a mess. &nbsp;However......as a last resort, I went up to BR and found cropped wide leg, flat front , regular rise (I know, right? 4/4!) black , polished linen pants. &nbsp;And to make it even better .....THEY FIT! &nbsp;I've been on a starvation diet disguised as a detox and perhaps it's working . &nbsp; Anyways, they weren't on sale, which was a little annoying because everything else was, but I bought them anyways, they are that nice. And then I realized.....I don't want more jeans anyways. The black cropped wide legs that I have from Anthropologie (aka the lint factory pants) were, as I recall, called "ultra high rise," which is laughable for me with my short-waistedness but they fit perfectly. So as much as it pains me to say so, making this trend work may require a lot of trying on. Good luck. I can hear your frustration. It's not an easy look to adapt to, and it really makes it clear how different each of our bodies are in that waist/hip area. Or even from others' reactions to my photos - some folks loved the ones I hated, and vice versa. So individual.</p> <p>It might become a bigger trend, in which case you might start seeing options in stores near you and you can try them on.
