The cobbler was able to make them look better by "painting" the scuffed area in a color that matched the shoe. (I don't know if there is a better way to describe this, but hopefully you understand.) Has anyone else noticed that if you scuff a MeToo metallic it shows black under the metallic?<br /> These are a pewter shade I love but now I am afraid it can't be fixed.<br /> Have not checked with my beloved shoemaker to see if he can work his magic on them yet. </p>
