I just can't wear them to work. Partly I may need darker shoe for bookending, but they're just too "look at me" . I can do darker metallic grays; also I think the darker shoe is going to be much more sock-friendly. I'm using sock for real socks, not nude knee-highs, assuming it's winter-wear.<br />I am finding the shootie style does not compete with trouser hems as much as laced oxfords, and I am liking a mildly pointed almond toe style-wise, but my feet like the most rounded toe possible, so it's a balance and can only tell by the tryon test (except I'm not ordering any that are really pointy).
