Y’all haven’t seen me in a narrow pointed toe shoe in a long time but it used to be a favorite! This silhouette reminds me of those narrow flats I wore back in the 80s but with more edge and updated vibe. I like that they hover somewhere between dainty (which is not one of my preferred descriptors these days, and doesn’t suit me so well as it did when I was young and skinny) and substantial. They’re really kind of cool-looking, but not comfortable once I tried walking on the hard floor in them. These are a long and NARROW shoe! My feet are slightly narrow and they feel too narrow for me! You can even tell in the second photo where the end of my toe is — nowhere near the end of the shoe — so sizing up would probably not be the solution. </p> <p>I also picked up the Linea Paolo black denim sneakers, and they are similar to my old ones, but not exactly the same. My old ones were an 8.5 (I usually wear an 8), and these actually feel like I could go up another half size. I ordered the 9s to try. No pics of those. </p>
