Yes, buy more. At 5 pounds, that's a great deal.
I get mine at costco too, Elizabeth! The long sleeved ones! They also DON'T PILL and look like new for a long time!
The ones from costco are washable too. Are yours?

I also have several, and most are from Costco! I have long sleeved ones and short sleeved ones. I love them because the don't fade, don't get stinky, dry quickly (hung to dry). and look a little dressier. I dont wear my short sleeved ones in the hottest part of summer but they work for shoulder seasons. My long sleeve ones go to work and the ski hill! So yes, try one :).

I love my lightweight Merino pieces. My only caveat is that they're as prone to moth holes as any other wool, so you do have to be careful with storage.

Sounds like I might need to wrangle a trip back to Costco, then! I never would have thought that wool could make a nice soft t-shirt.

I had merino tees in the past and they hold up like iron. Also don't get smelly from the sweat. Mine were too warm for high summer but perfect for any other weather.
I was sad to purge them because they were too short

My DS swears by Smart Wool tees for even warm weather. His praises make me want a couple. Go for it at this sale price if you like the way they fit and feel.

I love merino tees and have them in multiple styles: tanks, short sleeved tees, long sleeved tees and lightweight pullovers. To me, they become like '5 year tees' and completely worth the extra cost. They travel well, don't wrinkle and layer easily. I hand wash them and lay flat to dry. There's really nothing to dislike except having to be careful with jewelry and accessories because you don't want holes in the knit fabric.

My husband has a merino wool tee that I'm very jealous of He tells me it's his favourite tee ever. High praise - I'd buy!

I own several merino t-shirts. I have a couple of dressier ones and I couple I wear mostly to the gym. I have found them to hold up better than cotton t-shirts. I am careful not to dry them on high heat though.

Interesting question. I didn't even know they made merino tee shirts. I can no longer wear any type of wool, but my experience in the past was that wool held up marvelously well. I think they would hold up better than cotton/spandex anyway.

The other day I happened upon some long-sleeved 100% merino wool t-shirts for £5 each. Although it's been quite warm in the UK lately, I'm normally a bit cold blooded, and my typical "uniform" most of the year includes a cotton/spandex blend type long sleeved
t-shirt. I replace them every fall because they start to get pilled up quite quickly.

I've never had a wool one before -- do they normally hold up well? I bought one and it is not itchy on me at all, so if they are fairly robust I might go back and buy a few in different colors. They are a bit pricier than the ones I usually get, though, so I don't know if it is worth replacing them with wool ones or not.
