I try to never say never, but I have an awful poisoned eye for dropped crotches beyond a certain point. There's *ease* and then there's a point where it becomes *bulk* to my eye. Maybe because I already have wide hips and am loathe to increase the volume of that part of my body, but it's a look that just doesn't appeal to my eye at all. (Which makes me wonder, how many of our poison eye biases are driven by our body types and issues?) In the case of these particular pants, I think it's the stiffness combined with the volume that repulses me. There's a rectangle in your middle if you wear this look, with things sticking out of the rectangle...and yes, the problem I would see is that you would be hard pressed to move. And that feels extra-annoying when the very looseness of the trousers makes one IMAGINE they are all about comfort and ease.
