But it had no problem with the fierce wind that was blowing around the school when I picked up dd6. It doesn't show that it's quilted inside or puffy inside. Most of them were jacket-type.</p> <p>Some of them had a hint of a waist, but none of them gave me a waist like this one. It also is really windproof, it is stormy outside and I was happy to stand in the hard winds where other moms took shelter from the school building.</p> <p>I also wore another coat of a similar shape, the The North Face Suzanne Triclimate in picture 2, but it was a little longer and less puffy, it was a down inner coat with a flat outer coat which makes it more versatile, but I had a hard time reaching for the zipper. In hindsight I would like to go back and try it on again, but really I am going to be so annoyed by the low zipper. </p>
