I know that jeans and lingerie companies make merchandise specifically for the discount market. For example, I've seen Calvin Klein lingerie with the exact same design found in a major dept. store, but using a lower quality of fabric at Loehmann's. I also know that many of the designer jeans labels make their styles using a cheaper wash and sell them at Loehmans. They will have similar names to their full-price cousins, but the wash names will be unique. This is the first I've heard of shoe manufacturers doing this.

I found a pair of wedge Mary Jane like shoes at Marshalls. They are marked 'Me Too Callie'. I can't find any other info about these shoes online. In the past, I have found Born sandals with style names that produced no hits on Google.

Do companies make special shoes for the low-end department stores? Or are these closeouts from seasons past?

I can't find the thread, but I remember Shiny said something about how Me Too follows some specific nomenclature for naming their shoes. Does that ring a bell?
