I feel totally comfortable with that color.</p> <p>I had my colors done years ago and was told I was a Summer, but was handed a color palette of what can only be described as Light Summer. The makeup I was advised to wear made my skin look like chalk, and coworkers asked if I was sick. I strayed away from that because my skin tone is more neutral and I simply don't look good in the colors she told me to wear. (Hopefully, you will be able to find this book in a library.) Still one of the best of all books I have read about colour &amp; style. Even when it's far from one's visage. I have some mauve slip on sneakers. Went looking for another pair, saw instead some pink ones... and realised they were a better 'pink' for me. A sort of orangey, baby aspirin pink. A cool light pink tho is all wrong. But then, maybe that's a personality thing, not a colour thing.</p> <p>Which is interesting. Because I've always been told, for makeup, that I have cool undertones. Look best in '80s cool purples. And bluey reds, for clothes. Keep in mind that I've been struggling to get my hair color right. I kept trying to tell my hairdresser that I needed ash brown, but she tried neutral brown and then neutral-ash brown before deciding to go with the ash brown. My hair kept turning brassy, and the ash brown is the only color that doesn't do that. But at the same time, I have felt a little confused when studying your hair colour and skin colour. They didn't quite harmonize with each other. But they certainly do now! So while I still vote SOFT colours, I now feel convinced that in general, COOL (not warm) colours will be your best choice.
