Hmm, this complicates things.</p> <p>The shoe thing for me is mostly a matter of comfort, and also what jeans to pack. I think the 60's is still too cold for sandals for me. I need at least 70. I guess I have to go with Cons, but then my options are extremely limited, and it definitely means no leggings and tunic for traveling It will be bootcuts every day. No skirts, dresses, leggings, skinnies, or straight legs. Blah. How depressing. I wish I could just wear ballet flats, even the sportier type. I thought the silver Ann Klein ones would save me, but even they hurt when I took them to town yesterday.</p> <p>I guess I could wear boots with dresses and skirts all week (I never ever wear tights, except when I'm cold or a bit stubbly). </p> <p>Jean, I would love to meet you and Shiny as well, but I don't really have time this time around. I come up there pretty frequently (usually, not so much since I lost my job), so I think we should all plan on a meetup next time I'm there (yes, I am asking you to build your plans around me!). I would love Greenglove's read on this, but I'm suspecting you won't need the boots for this trip (unless you were planning to wear them tightless with skirts?). </p> <p>I would probably recommend you bring the Brulee's and a pair of Con's. The Con's will get you by if the weather dips down (like at night) and you want bare toe coverage. </p> <p>Then again, I may run hotter than most... </p>
