I used to have the worst time finding foundation colors, cause everything was too pink. I was thinking about what wildcards are in my wardrobe, especially since you and I both embrace color so color and prints are often our normal. So for me, wildcards are often a change in silhouette from my normal bootcut pants, pencil skirts, and sheath dresses, with sometimes a change in color. Such as my COs purchases that experiment with drape and oversize. That said, I have two pieces from Ann Taylor arriving Saturday that are my normal silhouette but in a color called “Island Sand”, a golden light beige in Sateen with a bit of shine. Silhouette is my uniform, fitted top and pencil skirt, but I almost never wear light colors. The two pieces can be worn together to resemble a sheath dress, or easily mixed into my wardrobe, so very practical.
