I don't need to prove anything - I wanted to 1) condense the wardrobe, 2) get out of the return cycle, and 3) get to know my new stuff better. If I could do it over, maybe I would have bought the orange top before a dress, since it actually solves many "spring top" problems in the wardrobe. </p> <p>I do have three bags waiting to be donated or swapped - one item contained therein being a wrinkly, not-quite-orange top. If I look at it that way, I feel better about staying true to my goals.</p> <p>ETA: very interesting comment about quitting things... seems like all I've been quitting lately is SYC! lol. Seriously, though, I'm realizing more and more that fashion fulfills a big need for me. I thought I'd check out the sizing of this silk blouse Parsley recommended and instantly loved it. I meant to wait until next month to get it, but I had a waking nightmare about the color selling out... sigh. It came home with me. </p> <p>So here's the girl math possible loophole: the dress I returned is about the same price as this and the dress I kept combined. Am I allowed a retroactive 2 for 1 substitution for May? Or do I need to bring the shirt back and sit on my hands till June? </p>
