I found them to be VERY comfortable, but they were quite big in the heel and slipped too much for them to work on me. They were too big for me. I'm still sad about that. They were somehow dramatic, a bit grunge, a bit feminine, all at once, and I could easily picture them toned down with boyfriend jeans. The Spring Step boots remind me a bit of them.</p> <p>Fluevogs are in the same vein for me, but I can never quite embrace the drama, preferring androgynous minimalism in my shoes.
