It seems to have something to do with the dye not being completely colour-fast and then washing out unevenly. I sent it back as faulty and exchanged— and the replacement had the same issue! It’s not awful, but you know, a new item should not arrive prestained :)</p> <p>What causes this? It often seems to happen with this kind of matt, stretchy fabric. Sometimes when I launder yoga clothes, this happens to them.
