I'm taking my first online course and the forum is one of the only places I am doing well! Interestingly, it's a male-dominated computer science topic (less than 20% women I believe, maybe under 10%) and 3 women (a significant percentage) all posted to say they were pretty uncomfortable with the discussion forum aspect. I don't think any men chimed in, but I wonder if women are better at confessing perceived weaknesses.<br /> Meanwhile I cut my teeth on a bridal board 10 years ago and have been all over various forums ever since.
