I often skip curling as I've learned that I can create that effect in the way I apply.<br /> Apply wand to the base of your lash line and push up as you wiggle. The mascara will hold the lashes in place. I've stopped wearing mascara. Be sure that your mascara is not the "lengthening" type. BEFORE you put on the mascara.</p> <p>This saved my makeup life. I, in my old age, only figured this out about 5 or 6 years ago. In my defense, I wore makeup a few years earlier in life than when I got my first glasses, so I didn't "need" to know about curlers right away. When I learned of them, they kind of freaked me out. After a bit of practice, I found 'em indispensable.</p> <p>Another tip: sweep lashes OUT to the sides when you do put on the mascara. This gives a nice look but also reduces further the chance of them hitting glasses.
