I will sometimes wear neutral outfits when visitors are due to visit my studio so I don't clash with the art, but it depends on my mood. Other times I enjoy playing off of the art -- iceberg colored scarf, for instance! </p> <p>I would personally hate the idea of restricting my use of color and fun to only my work and not my personal style. I think they're both forms of self-expression, and I never feel overwhelmed by it. Then today I came across this comment by Mary Katrantzou, whose designs are maximal fabness (I would love to own one of her photo print dresses someday!). Interesting! </p>
