I do have a chain belt...I'll have to see what I can put together for a tunic... Gosh, I have lots of photos to take now!

The look you are describing has potential Nicole. Perhaps even in a knit or a blousy top? Do you have a low slung chain belt and a tunic you can experiment with? If not, try the look on in stores, take a picture with your cell phone and we’ll try and help you out.

I like that dress too, Tanya. I can't wear anything belted at my natural waist, but would that dress look good with a low slung chain belt? Specifically, on me?

I tried to look for the one that I have to show you Tanya, but I can’t find it. It’s short sleeved with an oversized collar, huge mother of pearl buttons and hangs down like a straight boxy tunic, un-belted, with side entry pockets. It’s super, but I like the one that you have posted as well. It gets my thumbs up!

Angie, is the dress ?
http://www.martinandosa.com/we.....=1751_2805
I've been eying it myself for a few weeks. How would you say their sizing is? I don't own anything from AE and MO doesn't have a store here.

I have plenty of H&M stuff, and most have held pretty well. In particular I am fond of their knit tops and wrap rayon dresses. I have a couple of these dresses and have been wearing them a lot last summer and haven't has any issue with them. The only pieces that I have found to be of really inferior quality are the ones wih the sub-label "Divided" so I won't get those anymore.

Nice store. I have an ink blue straight shirt dress from there. Looks great with, well you guessed it, white skinnies. Ana offers a super description of the merchandise. It’s sort of preppy. No edge, but item for item it’s a win if you like that look. A modern classic persona for sure.

My wardrobe is never without a few OTT funky H&M purchases, and I’m a few years shy of 40. As with every piece that you add to your wardrobe, you need to be discerning about what you buy. H&M is a bit hit and miss, but ALWAYS worth a look if you go in with a low expectation.

Hi Lissy,

I recently bought a navy silk and tencel wrap dress from Martin + Osa (at the store), and I really like it. It's a nice quality, similar to BR. I haven't washed it or anything yet because it says "machine washable," but it has silk accents and things on it, so I think I will take it to a cleaners anyway. The tencel is a nice, soft, man-made fabric. It doesn't really wrinkle when I wear it, and if I leave it on the bed or something and don't hang it up right away, all the wrinkles fall out when I do hang it. I think someone else on the forum owns some white jeans from there, I can't remember who, though. I would be interested in an update on how those wear--whether they stretch out or keep their shape, etc.

M+O is owned by the parent company of American Eagle Outfitters, and it's aimed at the just out of college demographic, where lifestyles and tastes are changing, maybe jeans and a t-shirt isn't your go-to look anymore. The quality of the fabrics are higher, and they offer more "luxury" fabrics like cashmere sweaters and things.

I was wondering, if any of you have shopped at Martin + Osa, what was your experience? I really like their price range (a lot like Banana) and their colors are really appealing to me. How is their quality? Their fabric? These are things that are very very important to me when I buy clothes. It's the reason I can't get myself to shop at places like H&M. If you would, please tell me what you purchased and how it worked for you. Or, if you went to the store, what did you think of their clothes? The closest store is about 45 minutes away, so I don't want to make that trip and be disappointed.
Thanks in advance, ladies.
