Everything I was wearing was way too tight and showed off my tummy instead of hiding it. I've always loved clothes and I think I've always had a good eye, but I used to buy what looked good on the hanger and not really worry about how it looked on me. If it was cute on the hanger I would buy it. </p> <p>When I joined YLF I was feeling frumpy and I knew I had to make a few minor adjustments to feel and look better, and the forum and Angie's daily blog posts have helped tremendously. For me it's been coming to the realization that I have to buy bigger sizes. I have never been this fat in my life and I have never had to shop in plus size departments/stores... but now I do. I hope it's a temporary thing, but it is what it is and I've sort of come to terms with it. Squeezing myself into too tight (but cute!) clothes wasn't doing anything for me. </p> <p>I also feel like my body shape is sort of easy to dress... I'm not sure why that is. I'm very straight and lack curves, and as long as I am wearing the right size, things seem to look okay. I guess I just have a good feel for what works and what doesn't. I honestly don't put a ton of effort into finding the perfect fit!</p> <p>I really appreciate all the compliments. I'm in a bit of shock because I honestly don't consider myself super stylish or anything.
