I agree on liking this particular brown ... I don't mind tying the waist of a shirt myself, but when the tie waist is built into the top I've found styling is limited.</p> <p>The dark brown jeans look lovely. I understand about not wanting to buy jeans right now, I'm moving into our long summer season and my window of wearing jeans isn't closing fast. I’m also feeling quite over the waist tie front top look. I was fine with it for years, and now I’m done. Instead I’m wearing tops cropped to a high-hip length (long enough to cover waistbands of bottoms). Feels more modern and less fussy. I have a couple more tops I think I’m going to take to the tailor for this alteration. </p> <p>The top below is one I’m considering whether to alter or let go. I already had it altered a couple of years ago to shorten the sleeves. Probably not ideal to keep throwing money after a style I should maybe let go of instead. It's very lightweight and not too wrinkly. I wish they had some other items in this print :-(&nbsp;</p> <p>For the top, the size that fit best around the torso was too big/boxy in the shoulders (at least by my preferences), and after seeing it on I concluded that I am completely over/tired of the tie-waist top style, which I wore happily for the last few summers.&nbsp;</p> <p>The pants were unflattering on me, which I expected, but wanted to try them anyway. They were about 2" above the ankle on me so even more of a cropped look for a more avg height person. I might have considered keeping them if the hem was wider and could be let down to full length, but it was not to be.&nbsp;</p> <p>2)&nbsp;I also checked out these dark brown jeans, a dup of some lighter wash ones I already have. The fabric has a really wonderful feel (the blue jeans) and the length is perfect (full length on me) but I decided not to keep the brown&nbsp; because it will soon be too hot for jeans for several months. I may consider them again in Aug/Sept if they are still available.&nbsp; </p>
