Johnny Depp, whose shabby chic really goes beyond a surface level.&nbsp; Encouraging me to really be aware of the quality of vintage, etc.</p> <p>2. Deion Sanders, former NFL pro, and coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, my hometown. <br />I was immediately impressed with his gold sunglasses, which became such a hit, he collaborated with the company. I can also see he treats bright white with such intentionality. (I will be ordering his sunglasses.)</p> <p>3. Pharrell Williams, musician, producer and now head designer for men's fashion for Louis Vuitton. I don't know how he specifically influences ME, but he is so current, with such a sharp sense of dandyism, that he is good to pay attention to.</p> <p>4. Larry David, creator, writer, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld.&nbsp; Between his "just out of the package" gym t-shirts and drab blazers, he seems to have been one of the leaders of smart casual.&nbsp; White Dad sneakers never looked so good!<br />A lesson in comfort, consistency, and a closet full of neutrals. From him I am reminded the power of sticking with a few things...and that normcore looks good if you celebrate it.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p> </p>
