Which doesn't sound too bad until you realize that the boot I wore almost every day last winter was my SNOW boot. Sigh. </p> <p>Laughing at myself because I was a bit of a slow convert to booties. Now I love them but our recent winters have been so tough that even booties don't offer enough coverage. I have hard-to-fit calves, so taller boots rarely work, OTK aren't my style and booties are great, but mid-calf boots are more BOOT-like, if that makes any sense. The only mid-calf styles around were moto styles.
