Then I add something mad like a layered tank, or bright shoes. Right now I want to buy things that are utterly classic like the perfect black cashmere vneck, a white textured pullover, etc. I want to go with interesting basics, essentially.</p> <p>The biggest issue I have right now is fit in my old pants, which sucks because many of them were workhorses. I just can't spend what I used to. I want to think about my clothing less and be happy with what I have. And the only way to do this is with DISCIPLINE, ladies! I need STRUCTURE! Look how lovely and sophisticated and monochromatic! Now I just need to winnow and prune and allow for the fact that I cannot wear a single shirt all week (as shown) without stinking up the joint. And that I do wear a *teeeeeeeny* bit more color than this.</p> <p>The hard part will be purging and not re-acquiring. I think I need to be strict and stick to classic archetextural - very classic cuts in interesting fabrics.</p> <p>Wish me luck! </p>
