I took a mini-screwdriver to the pans and pried them out. I put them in a little metal tin that I had saved from some breath mints. The adhesive was still sticky, so &nbsp;was able to adhere the pans to the bottom of the tin. Then I threw the rest of the palette in the trash. But yeah, I tend to find maybe two shades out of six or more that I use and the rest sit until I throw them away.</p> <p>Years ago I started buying individual shadows from MAC and I still have most of them — some predate my YLF days! But I think if they are not crumbly or changed in texture or smell, they seem ok. Not like I’m using them right now, LOL. I should probably refresh and reevaluate my eye makeup anyway, now that I’m well over 50 with all the associated skin changes. I’ve wondered about cream shadows. In fact, there is only one shadow out of the palette that I really enjoy, and then two that I use occasionally. I really dislike keeping such a large palette when I don't use much of it and never will. </p> <p>Any suggestions on what to do with this palette? Would you just try to get the pans out for the shades you use, and throw the rest? I've never used a magnetic palette and don't know whether the pans would be magnetic. I did see a gal on YouTube showing how to make your own magnetic palette and pans, and boy, it was a lot of work that I am not prepared to do! </p>
