Ugh. I just tossed out a compact that was for this purpose. I have a rosy/red hue to my skin and want to cut it back sometimes. I think, and I'm not completely sure that it was Trish. I know it looked like a white paste compressed into a powder/compact. I would try at least.

Also have rosacea as well as cystic acne, I find that most commercial makeup irritates and makes my skin worse. I like mineral powders best, and for heavier coverage I like to mix it with oils and/or moisturizer to create "liquid" foundation. I'm curious to watch the video though!

Thank you deb, have bookmarked the video. I have mild rosacea and generally wear no makeup to avoid aggravation. Nice to have some strategies for special occasions!

Thanks but I didn't have rosacea after all -- I had a B12 deficiency! A month of B12 shots and no more red face, though all over my skin has pinked right up. I didn't realize how insidiously paler and paler I'd become.

PSA: if you are getting pale, suddenly develop "rosacea" (facial flushing), have hot flashes, your period disappears, have tingling and numbness, lightheadedness, chest pains, concentration issues, and fatigue.... get your B12 checked.

I do not remember who started the thread, but there was a conversation about makeup and skin care for those with red skin. Lisa Eldridge just posted this video on techniques for application and type of products.
