Then the eyes are not as strong, as others have suggested.<br /> For my daytime look when I want red, I find that this shade ( <a href="http://www.clinique.co.uk/products/1605/Makeup/Lipsticks/index.tmpl">Clinique</a>, search for Long Last Lipstick, Pink Chocolate Matte) works beautifully to show off the lips, but without being overwhelming. I'm just not brave enough to wear it outside of the house, so bravo to you.</p> <p>Personally, I find that with a strong haircut it is too distracting to have too many features highlighted, so you may have to pick lips or eyes. Alternate for fun? Instead of auburn Im going dark with strips of magnum red (think Sharon Osbourne but not all over the head - just strips) I"m cutting it but not sure how- will be layered and midlength. I often wear mascara and eyemakeup but never lipstick. I'm just wondering if its a good idea to have both features strong or to highlight only one. e.g if you wear strong eye makeup (which I often do for work) should I wear a subdued lipstick or could I also take a bright red. Love the idea of a red lipstick. </p>
