I use Jergens self tanner to cover spider veins, until I have enough of a natural tan to camouflage my veins.

I used a self-tanner that worked gradually over a few days. I didn't have to worry about missing spots. I liked it. I think it was by Jergens. I might try it again now that I have been reminded of it.

I cover up some spider veins near my ankle using my regular shade of Covergirl concealer dusted with translucent (clear/white-looking) Dermablend powder. It's OK. I do use it when wearing pants and there's not a lot of transfer, but I choose my pants carefully as I think it will transfer more if there's a lot of abrasion as with close-fitting jeans that end at that exact, same, spot. I was VERY unhappy with the performance of Dermablend concealer--it oxidized terribly and became quite dark and orange on my skin. I second Angie's comment about using self-tanner instead--it looks more natural, to my eye, and does not rub off. But I don't try to keep my legs tanned during Winter, however.

I have never used leg makeup. A very good friend of mine swears by that self tanning stuff. She uses it religiously. She looks strong and healthy. And certainly happy.

I usually suggest a self-tanner instead of leg make-up for natural coverage. I have used it myself from time to time too. But usually, don't bother.

I used Sally Hansen leg makeup once when I was going to a wedding. My legs looked tanned. I would use it again but I am lazy. Maybe for a wedding. It did not transfer to my dress.

I ve tried Mac body foundation on the salesgirls assurance that it was non transferable once dry but I m afraid it came off all over the hem of the skirt I was wearing so I had to go and wash it if before I went out.It was a shame because it did make my legs look better ,like wearing 5 denier tights. It s put me off trusting other products. The other issue of course is colour matching ,if you can’t get a good match for your skin tone it does look very fake.Sorry this is turning into all the reasons not to buy leg make up but others may have found better products than me.

Years ago I tried a few to cover a patch of spider veins on my upper thigh. Sally Hansen and Dermablend. Never looked "real" and was not worth the fuss.
