I am very fair - "clear" brows and lashes. Every now and again I get my brow and lashes dyed. It lasts about 3-5 weeks, fading out as the hairs grow out. I've been doing it occasionally for over 15 years and never had a problem. Being at the beach often &amp; in a culture where not much makeup is worn made it easy. It felt so nice to have a bare face. Since returning I have been wearing much less, sometimes only mascara. </p> <p>I am blessed with fairly clear skin, but allergies and rosacea/hot flashes have made makeup wearing rather uncomfortable-nothing like a hot flush with foundation on--yuck, or itchy teary eyes from allergies</p> <p>I do love my lip gloss/Smiths, and could not imagine going without! I started wearing shadow then. And when my eyebrows started disappearing I found out why everyone felt the need for brow products.
