Thanks for this, Kelly. I might give it a try! I use a powder blush from Nars and have been thinking it's time to try something new.

I don't recall ever using a cream blush, Kelly, but after reading all the 'glowing' endorsements I'm going to give it a try! I find most lip glosses don't have much staying power, but if I put chapstick (or other fairly waxy lipbalm) on first as a base it seems to last a little longer. Thanks for the review!

I have used MAC blushes and eyeshadows for years. I would be willing to try a very sheer cream blush to see what it is like. I am also waiting for Jones Road to come to Canada. Good to hear that it is working out for you, Kelly.

Cream blush for the win! Even when my skin was oilier, I preferred the dewiness of a cream to a powder blush. I use Benefit's Cha Cha tint, which looks very vivid orange, but actually adds a nice warm glow to my complexion. I am also interested in Bobbi Brown's new line, especially the blush and eye shadow options.

I've been using a cream blush for 15 years. I much prefer the dewy finish and shine to powder. HIGH FIVE! Glad you're having make-up fun, Kelly

I"ve been on an Ilia kick for the past several months (the nonchemical sunscreen oil serum tint I looove), but I have been interested in Bobbi Brown's new project after reading an article interviewing her about. Now I'm off to look

Haha, Janet. You are so pretty without make up! Probably just a little color in your cheeks brightened your face up even more!

Ooh, Lisa. You're an expert. I hope you can try it and let us know your impressions. It's very minimalist and talks about being "clean beauty" and friendly to older skin--at least that's kind of what I gleaned from reading the story. I think I probably need more makeup rather than less as I navigate the 50s but something about it resonated with me and I really wanted to try it.

I have changed from a powder blush (Nars) to Milk cream blush and really like it. When I actually use it, that is. I put on makeup because some friends (just one couple) were coming to the ranch the other day for a socially distanced outdoor burger, and my husband was like, “You look so pretty!” I think he’d forgotten how I look with makeup on, LOL. It was literally a tiny bit of blush, a touch of eye pencil and a swipe of mascara, and lip balm.

I'm dying to buy it all, but it's not shipping to Canada yet. I have been a Bobbi Brown customer since day one, literally, and even now when she's no longer associated with the brand.

Thanks for the affirmation, Fabbers.
I've never tried the MAC cream blushes so I can't compare. The Miracle balm is very sheer so it seems mistake proof for someone like me. It's emollient though so not sure everyone would like it. I'll see how it looks at the end of the day and see if any of my family members comment on how shiny my face looks...
@nemosmom: I've tried the eyeshadow and the liner. Both are very pigmented. I could see those becoming an every day basic for a quick face. The gloss is great--slightly minty but doesn't last very long tbh. It's not making me want to toss out what I have but I do like a more pared down look these days so I think they were a good purchase. Jury is still out on whether I will purchase again. I will keep you posted!

Long time MAC F&B user here! I love the lightweight sheer coverage of it. I recently tried ILIA serum foundation (for the SPF) and I like it. Not the most perfect color match, but it's thin enough to not be a deal breaker... especially since I only wear it on Zoom days.

The new Bobbi Brown line looks interesting - especially the blush! I tried cloud paints and liked them initially, but they aren't quite right. What else have you tried from the line?

Thanks for the review. I love a cream blush, and have had a hard time finding a replacement for the cream blushes Mac used to offer. I miss those! Off to take a look at this one.

I'm not much of a make up person. I've used MAC most of my adult life--I've tried Clinique, Shiseido, Laura Mercier but always come back to MAC. Face and Body is my go to foundation these day because of it's mostly sheer coverage. I tried IT "your skin but better" foundation--pretty good color match but too drying even with moisturizer and primer. I ended up returning that.
What I'm excited about is Bobbi Brown's new Jones Road Beauty line. I bought the starter kit and like it for a natural look. I was really in it for the "miracle balm" since I've been looking for a cream blush that was buildable. It's dewy (and very sheer to be honest) but I love that it's not as dull/flat as my powder blush. I got the Tawny. The lip gloss is nice too but it doesn't have much staying power. Still playing around with it but thought I'd share my initial impressions if anyone is thinking about trying it.
