If it's the new closet yes! :)</p> <p>AlaskaGirl - Oh the process itself is what is forcing to come up with new outfit ideas. As I go through each piece &amp; decide which section it belongs in it forces me to think about how I wear it &amp; how I could wear it. </p> <p>Here's a shot of my favorite spot so far - Workhorses. Under the rod is the quilt rack that now only holds my workhorse sweaters &amp; scarves with shoes underneath. On the wall are my go-to jewelry pieces I wear with most items. I still have to find a way to get boots there etc. </p> <p>And, I've realized my goal is to have just the current season in my closet. I was overwhelmed otherwise. I think this will also help for things to feel new to me again when I pull them out to do the seasonal closet swap. It's funny, all this time I thought I wanted everything in one closet - the grass isn't always greener on the other side... I started capsulizing my closet (workhorses, casual, going out/special fun stuff, odd category of muted BR browns that only seem to go with certain things, another odd category for me (so far at least) Golds that don't go with a lot, Gray's/Blacks that I don't wear frequently, Teals that I don't wear frequently. I'm going so far as to put certain belt's/shoes/scarves with each category as well &amp; want to do jewelry also.</p> <p>I am amazed right now b/c I am coming up with outfit combinations like crazy by doing this. The downfall is that I'm seeing exactly why some pieces are closet orphans &amp; some that I didn't realize were orphans are. </p> <p>I'm not sure if it will drive me crazy over time (ex: not able to find a black vest b/c it's in with workhorses or something like that) but I'm going to try it out for awhile. </p> <p>Ummm, that's assuming I'm done soon anyway - massive purging through this initiative. Now, I'm down to the orphans that I have to make a decision on...It's going to be interesting. I think I will love it or hate it in the end...time will tell! </p>
