I don't have enough other summer events to justify it, even though I really like it. There is no sizing up, it's 12.<br />What's frustrating is that I sent a pic of it to bride before ordering and she liked it then.<br />BCBG is a total bust this season, and honestly at my current size I'd probably not fit into them. Anthro is crap too. Overall most summer dresses are either minis or skimpy but long resort wear types.<br />I'm a maid of honor in a wedding with no bridesmaids. Specific bridesmaids dresses are really not going to work with this wedding. When we were looking at wedding dresses at David's, even she agreed their selection of bridesmaid dresses was dismal and bland.<br />I'm basically praying that the blue Vivienne Westwood works because she liked it. And I do understand the bride's point about a solid-color dress -- when I got married, I didn't pick out a bridesmaid dress, but I asked my bridesmaids to choose their own in a shade of blue, anywhere from a green-blue to periwinkle, in a length from knee to midi. It worked out great and everyone looked like themselves but the range of solid blues made for nice photos and a good backdrop for flowers. I suspect a floral dress would fight a bit with any flowers that they may choose for the day.
