I like In Style - especially the section that puts outfits together for different occasions, and explains why the pieces work. Brilliant!

What about one of the international Vogues? I'm not very familiar with them but I'm sure there's one that would be inspiring for you. I get Elle and Vogue because I like having tangible images, and they're both OK but I certainly get more inspiration online.

I like to look through In Style at the hair salon. And Lucky, although it's way too young for me.

I like Lucky because of the mix of affordable items, but it definitely skews young. I have loved a lot of the looks in Bazaar (sophisticated, without being bizarrely high fashion), but they're all pretty high end.

Sigh.

I would love a version of More that really focused just on clothing, for grown-up women, without the inspirational stories about bravely facing middle age and beyond... (Nothing wrong with those, I'm just looking for a magazine about fashion.)

I used to subscribe to Elle and Marie Claire, I've since let both lapse.
Elle was just eh. Marie Claire I think has taken a nose dive since Nina Garcia took over. It used to have a good mix of high and low end stuff, but now has definitely shifted mostly to high end.
Lucky, I pick up from time to time but generally their aesthetic doesn't quite jibe with mine.
Vogue, I only buy the September issue.
The only one I can think of Nylon, but it seems young.
I gain most of my inspiration from blogs, but sometimes it's nice to leaf through a real magazine.
