Porto is really gorgeous I have been there twice. Lisbon is beautiful but like any capital city can be busy. The west coast can be windy and wet while the Algarve is very sunny and warm. Lagos coastline was breathtaking, unique beaches. I even swam almost every day although water was not exactly warm. Loved our stay there.
